L’enologo

Riccardo Cotarella

An internationally renowned oenologist, professor of Viticulture and Oenology at the University of Tuscia in Viterbo and an academic associate of the Accademia dei Georgofili, Riccardo Cotarella has been president of Assoenologi since 2013. He has constantly combined his profession as an oenologist with civil commitment, following the young people of the San Patrignano Community in their agro-wine training process, participating in the "Wine for Life" project of the Community of Sant'Egidio and following the Cremisan winery in Bethlem (Palestine), a company run by the Salesian community. He received the recognition of "Chevalier de l'Ordre du Mérite Agricole" from the French Republic.
