Description
Notes of wild berries, wild rose, and elderberry blend together.
It offers elegance and savoriness, captivating freshness, and a consistently pleasant smoothness.
The Pinot Noir from Basilicata reveals its full colour intensity and fine, elegant tannins.
On the Pinot Noir vines in the Calata delle Brecce vineyard, after harvesting the grapes destined for Vulcano 800, we leave one or two bunches on each vine.
These grapes are allowed to reach perfect ripeness, developing higher sugar levels while maintaining a harmonious balance of acidity and aromatic compounds. The result is a wine with higher alcohol content and greater aromatic complexity. Vinification is completed with at least 18 months of ageing in barriques.
Calata delle Brecce is a pure Pinot Noir with pronounced notes of ripe red fruit and pleasant spicy nuances, supported by beautifully polished tannins that are never overpowering.
